Part TF-01Accepting these terms
By downloading, installing or using Telco Flow, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. If you use the app on behalf of a workshop or business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
Part TF-02Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Telco Flow on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may use the app commercially in your own shop, for example to plan instruments you sell. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the app itself.
Part TF-03Calculations are planning aids
Telco Flow calculates body, bridge, f-hole, arch and air-volume figures from the dimensions you enter. These figures are mathematical planning aids based on general geometry and common building practice. They are not a guarantee of tone, playability or structural soundness.
- Results are only as accurate as the numbers you enter, including the units you choose.
- Wood varies. Density, moisture, grain and stiffness affect the real outcome in ways no calculator can fully predict.
- Always check critical dimensions with your own tools, templates and experience before you cut, carve, glue or drill.
Part TF-04Your builds and spec sheets
The dimensions, notes and spec sheets you create belong to you. They are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us. That means:
- You are responsible for keeping backups, for example through your device's backup feature or by exporting spec sheets.
- We can't restore builds lost because a device was lost, reset or damaged, or because the app was uninstalled.
- If you share a spec sheet with a customer or colleague, you decide what it contains and who receives it.
Part TF-05Fair use
When using Telco Flow, you agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- remove copyright, trademark or other notices;
- use the app for anything unlawful;
- try to interfere with the app's operation or security;
- present the app's output as a certified engineering or appraisal document.
Part TF-06Ownership of the app
The app, including its code, design, calculation methods, text and graphics, and the names "Telco Flow" and "Telco Luthier", is owned by Isabella Porter and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, except for the limited licence in Part TF-02.
Part TF-07Purchases and app stores
Any price, subscription or in-app purchase is shown in the app store listing and is billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Refunds, renewals and cancellations are handled under that store's policies. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligation to provide support for the app. Where the Apple App Store's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, it governs alongside these terms.
Part TF-08Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Telco Flow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. These include implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any calculation will suit a particular instrument.
Part TF-09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of materials, tonewood, labour, profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or reliance on its figures. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions or limits. In those places, they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Part TF-10Ending, changes and governing law
Ending. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Parts TF-03, TF-04, TF-06, TF-08 and TF-09 continue after it ends.
Changes. We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's place of residence, except where your local consumer-protection law gives you the right to rely on the laws and courts of your own country. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
